I have an interesting story that is from the opposite perspective. Why non of the terminator games werent any good how to#The official documentation page on how to remove a page from Google’s search results says essentially the same thing, but I wanted to give a little more context. If you were creating your own search engine, I also hope that you’d come to pretty much the same conclusion. People usually aren’t happy to hear that reply, but I hope they can understand the reasoning behind it. might be different I’m not as familiar with how legal stuff works outside the U.S. Why non of the terminator games werent any good update#We really don’t want to be taking sides in a he-said/she-said dispute, so that’s why we typically say “Get the page fixed, changed, or removed on the web and then Google will update our index with those changes the next time that we crawl that page.” Our policies outside the U.S. Or if the page is doing something against the law, get a court to agree with you and force webpage B to be removed or changed. Either contact whoever put up webpage B and convince them to modify or to take the page down. The best actions for you from our perspective can be one of a couple options. In that sense, the presence of that page in Google’s index is just reflecting the fact that the page exists on the wider web. it can be found by going to it directly or through other search engines). ![]() We typically say that if person A doesn’t like a webpage B, only removing page B out of Google’s search results doesn’t do any good because webpage B is still there (e.g. The page you pointed out is not spam, and pretty much the only removals (at least in the U.S., which is what I know about) that we do for legal reasons are if a court orders us. ![]() So here’s the sort of reply that I would normally send back: Now when people ask me some form of this question, I can just point them to this blog post. I’ve responded to this so many times that I thought I’d write up a complete response. Can Google remove this crazy person’s page?” Or “Everybody knows that this crazy person is posting lies and twisting people’s words. More likely, they say “There’s this person making crazy claims about me on the web, and the stuff they say is just off-the-wall. Is there any way to remove it from Google’s index?” People don’t usually say it like that. Why non of the terminator games werent any good movie#The pros of the film more than make up for the cons, however, and anyone who thinks they can skip right to the second movie is missing out on a classic horror (yes, horror) experience.(This is just a post from my personal perspective, but I hope it’s helpful.)Įvery few weeks or so, someone contacts me and says “Hey Matt, there’s page out on the web about me that I really don’t like. and many of the effects have not aged well. The Terminator is not perfect by any stretch. Why non of the terminator games werent any good series#Mix all three characters together in a series of grim chase sequences and you get one hell of a film. His Terminator is terrifying, mowing down anyone who tries to fight him as he's slowly reduced to a ghoulish endoskeleton. ![]() Schwarzenegger is the least emotional of the three, and that's perfect for his character. Biehn shows Hamilton the way of the warrior, and despite his innate charisma he also displays an appropriate amount of social anxiety in the film's quiet moments. Hamilton shows the most range, evolving from a fun-loving working girl to a harried, horrified, determined survivor by the time the credits roll. It's difficult to pick a favorite among the leads in this film because they're all great. Arnold Schwarzenegger has some fun as an older, more sarcastic T-800, but he's not nearly good enough to save this bloated mess of a film. Their chemistry is poor, and if you've watched the original films it's tough to even picture this duo as the characters from The Terminator. There are attempts at character work to bind these plot points together and make Kyle and Sarah into a couple, but Jai Courtney is not Michael Biehn and Emilia Clarke is not Linda Hamilton. The plot of Genisys is all about changing the future by messing with the past, and while that's a common theme in Terminator it's the entire point in Genisys. Because of course cell phones are responsible for the apocalypse.ĭoes the story sound overstuffed? It should. More changes lead to more Terminators to destroy, and the trio hop around time to stop a new version of Skynet that begins life as an app. This shifts things around, and when Reese tries to accomplish his mission he finds the original Terminator being destroyed by an older, more humane version of Arnie, the long-time protector of Sarah in this new timeline. Opening on the eve of humanity's victory against Skynet, Genisys shows Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) going back in time to save Sarah Conner (Emilia Clarke) just as resistance leader John Conner (Jason Clarke) is being assassinated.
